UW Makes Title Grab At MPSF ChampionshipsPublished by
On the Track: Washington's men's track and field team will be attempting to make history with its third-consecutive Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) this weekend at the Dempsey Indoor Facility in Seattle. The MPSF is the indoor conference championships for eight Pac-10 teams plus two teams out of the Big West. The 16th-ranked Husky women's team will also be among the favorites to capture their first title since 1996. The championships take place over two days, beginning this Friday, Feb. 29 at 12 p.m. and resuming on Saturday, March 1, at 10 a.m. Admission is free to all spectators.
