TEMPE, Ariz. - The Arizona State University track and field program, ranked No. 1 in the nation on the men's side and No. 2 in the women's rankings for the second week in a row, will return to the road this weekend when the Sun Devils travel to Dempsey Indoor in Seattle, Wash., to compete in the 2008 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Championships Friday and Saturday. Washington will host the meet that serves as an indoor conference meet for ASU.

The USTFCCCA released its latest national rankings on Wednesday (February 27) with the Sun Devils highly ranked. Based upon points earned in relation to an athlete/relay's position on the NCAA descending order list, the Arizona State men remained No. 1 this week with 117.38 points while the women are No. 2 with 147.91 (LSU is No. 1 at 191.25).
